You don’t need previous experience to work for us, we just want real ‘people people’.

We invest big in making sure you are trained well and have all the skills you need to be great in your role. Training is regularly refreshed so you’re always up to date. Specifically for you, you will have a one to one induction with your Team Leader to make sure you get off on the right foot, regular one to one supervisions and shadow time with current staff.

You will have the opportunity to attend:

  • Learning Disability Foundation Course  (An introduction to Options Values and Beliefs, Your role as a Support Worker, Health and Safety, and Safeguarding)
  • NVQ Level 2 Qualification in Health and Social Care
  • Mandatory and Statutory Training  (First Aid, Food Hygiene, Medication, MAPA)
  • Specific training depending on the person you are matched to support  (Makaton, How to use a Hoist, Epilepsy Awareness, Autism Awareness, Dysphasia Training, PEG Feeding etc.)
  • Leadership Training
